Meme warfare. Is it real? A myth? A joke? Some see it only as a term thrown around by highschoolers who spend their days playing games as they struggle through puberty.
The truth? Meme warfare is real and dangerous. Meme wars are played on an intellectual plane. The fight is for peoples perception and opinion. The reward is control over peoples thoughts and therefore control over them.
One real-world example is the Draft Our Daughters campaign creates by the meme culture which “involves subversion of the semantics of feminism against the Clinton campaign”. This campaign undermind the support of Hillary Clinton in the 2016 US election through their memes.
It was not a myth. It was not a Joke. It was political War.
How could this harmless meme attack the election so powerfully? Have a read and see for yourself.

A meme parallelling war with memes.
It is pretty scary how much power memes can have in a modern day society. Evident in the last USA election, and you have to think it is only going to increase more in the future, crazy how much power people can have over a major world event just over the internet. Top blog!
