Playing with Perception

There are many ways to play with a person’s perception. In my previous blog “War.” I write about the effects memes have in perception propaganda. But the game of perception is played with many instruments.

All mediums use all manner of ways in which they attack audiences with propaganda. In “Medium=Message” I mention how even the medium can be the propaganda that explodes into our consciousness.

This is called Framing. The art of prettying up a message to change or create perception. It is a media war. It is a political war. It is social war.

The only tool we have against it is the knowledge of its existence. Armed with this we must question all opinions asking “Is this true? Or just another Frame?”…

Meme eyes to show memes as just another frame.

    Nice post matey!
I like how you linked the content of this post to that of the previous week! Also, I’m always a fan of Morpheus memes 😉

It is pretty interesting how the media frames certain events, and they can definitely persuade their viewers into believing only half of the story. Why its important to know the whole story before passing judgement. Top blog!
